Your license comes with a year’s worth of updates. Once that year is up, you can keep using your last version of Sketch for as long as you want, without Cloud access — or you can renew again for more updates.

Here’s what you need to know about your Sketch license, based on the questions we get asked the most. If you don’t find your question answered below, feel free to contact us.
Buying a Sketch license for the first time will cost $99 USD and include a year’s worth of updates. Education pricing and volume discounts are also available.
If you’re renewing your license, the cost of renewal will depend on how many seats you have and how many seats you want to renew:
| Quantity | 1 | 2 - 9 | 10 - 19 | 20 - 49 | 50+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price | $69 USD | $64 USD | $59 USD | $54 USD | $49 USD |
Your license is valid for a year from the date you purchase it. For example, if you purchase your license on 1st January 2017, you’ll get regular updates to Sketch up to 1st January 2018. To receive updates after that date, you’ll need to renew your license.
If you don’t want to renew your license after it expires, you can continue to use the version of Sketch that you have, for as long as you want. You will not be able to upload your documents to Cloud however. If you decide you want to renew at a later date, that’s fine. We’ll be waiting for you!
We split out Sketch releases into regular updates and bug-fix updates. You’ll always be entitled to a bug-fix update for your last version, even after your license has expired.
